The North Carolina Tar Heels women’s soccer team continues to collect awards this season. Led by 2019 ACC Coach of the Year Anson Dorrance, three Tar Heels were named First Team All-Americans.

Junior defender Emily Fox, sophomore midfielder Brianna Pinto, and junior forward Alessia Russo were named All-Americans by the United Soccer Coaches. Freshman defender Maycee Bell was named to the third team.

Fox was named as one of the three finalists for the 2019 Missouri Athletic Club Hermann Trophy. The MAC Hermann Trophy is presented to the top women’s soccer player in the NCAA.

Prior to the College Cup, Fox, Pinto, Russo, and Bell were named to the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division I All-Atlantic Team.

Junior midfielder Natalie Chandler won the NCAA Elite 90 award. This is given to the women’s soccer player who achieves excellence on the field and in the classroom.

Congratulations to these Tar Heels!
