ACC Tournament: UNC vs Duke

Anyone who has followed college basketball at all this season has been subject to All Zion All The Time. It can be frustrating and exhausting if you aren’t a fan of Duke, and tonight it may very well reach a fever pitch. Zion finally gets a chance to take on UNC, and UNC finally gets a chance to prove themselves against Duke at full strength.

Make no mistake about it, UNC earned their two victories over the Blue Devils in the regular season. The Tar Heels were able to sweep a team that still had two lottery picks. Unfortunately, most of that will be overlooked if Carolina can’t emerge victorious tonight, even though that’s absolutely ridiculous. Guess that means they should just go ahead and win, especially with a one-seed likely on the line in the NCAA Tournament.

To maximize their chances of victory, the Heels should run the Blue Devils ragged. Duke looked tired in the second half of both regular season games, and Zion probably isn’t in a great position to get into a track meet with Coby White and co. Utterly exhausting their opponent might be one of the biggest keys to winning for Carolina.
