Tonight the Heels will take on the Clemson Tigers in Littlejohn Coliseum in their only head-to-head matchup of the season. Going into this game, Clemson is on the outside looking in as far as the NCAA Tournament goes, and this game will be extremely important for them to have a chance to participate in the big dance. Meanwhile, Carolina is officially guaranteed a double bye in the ACC Tournament, and is likely to get at minimum a two seed in the NCAAT barring any tragedies going forward.
This will be a dangerous game for the Heels if they get complacent, as Clemson is likely going to come out of the gates looking to make a statement. However, the Tar Heels also know that they need to keep their foot on the gas if they want a chance to win at least a share of the ACC regular season title.
