NCAA Tournament - UNC vs. Iona: How to watch

Here’s how you can see the Tar Heels play their first round game in the NCAA Tournament.

It’s here! We are now fully into the NCAA Tournament after yesterday, but now we get to see the Tar Heels play! UNC will open its NCAA Tournament and try to not become the second ever one seed to lose in the first round (sup, Virginia) tonight against Iona.

Despite losing their last game in ACC Tournament semifinals, UNC is still one of the hottest teams in the country. Add in the stat that Roy Williams has never lost in the first round and that this is a 1-16 game, and you figure the Tar Heels should be able to overwhelm their opponent.

The Gaels won the MAAC Tournament, and have won ten consecutive games heading into this first round. However, even with that win streak, Iona comes in barely over .500 at 17-15. Both teams come into this game in the top 50 in tempo, so this game should be a track meet. Hopefully that plays in UNC’s favor.

If you didn’t get the chance to head to Ohio to see the games in person, here’s how you can catch tonight’s matchup.
