The North Carolina Tar Heels survived their first game of the NCAA Tournament, and now they set their sights on the Washington Huskies. The Huskies are coming off of a 78-61 victory against Utah State behind Noah DIckerson’s 20-point performance. Their potent defense forced Utah State to shoot 35% from the field, and they assuredly look to do the same thing to the Tar Heels.
Meanwhile, the Tar Heels are coming off of an 88-73 victory against Iona, with Nassir Little coming through in a big way after they struggled to make baskets in the first half. Now that they were able to keep Roy Williams’ perfect Round of 64 record intact, the Heels hope to put together a complete shooting performance for the first time in a number of games, and hopefully punch their ticket for the Sweet Sixteen in Kansas City, MO.
