The Tar Heels are on to the Sweet 16 after an impressive win against Washington on Sunday. People are taking notice that this Carolina team has the talent to go all the way, and they are also realizing that they don’t know as much about this team as they do about a certain other team just down the road.
So, on Monday I spoke with Matt Perrault on SB Nation Radio’s “Pushing The Odds.” The show itself is mostly focused on the world of sports gambling, but in order to make educated bets, you need to know about the teams. Matt and I chatted about Carolina’s wins over the weekend, the temperature of the fanbase, what a potential title would mean to the seniors, and what the fanbase thinks about a potential national title matchup with that team in Durham. We also chatted a little about the NCAA tournament as a whole, and how this weekend could see the best weekend of basketball in a while due to all of the chalk that advanced.
