Between the Banners 6: UNC/Clemson post-game breakdown

Well that was fun, let’s never do that again.

NCAA Basketball: North Carolina at Clemson Joshua S. Kelly-USA TODAY Sports

It goes without saying that the Tar Heels have had a lot of way-too-interesting-to-be-good-for-my-blood-pressure games this year, and now we can add another to the list. Carolina took down Clemson in Littlejohn Coliseum in a game where we saw Roy Williams get vertigo, Kenny Williams’ shooting struggles continue, Coby White and Cameron Johnson catching fire from deep, and oh yeah, that one no-call at the end of the game. Seriously, if anybody out there claims that college basketball isn’t fun to watch, it may be worth giving them a lie detector test.

Managing Editor Tanya Bondurant (@tanyabondurant) joined me (@THBBrandon) after the game to discuss everything that went down last night. Join us as we cover topics such as:

  • Was that really a foul at the end of the game? Also if it was, who was the foul on?
  • Coby White and Cameron Johnson making Carolina history with their shooting performances, and their teammates failing to contribute from deep.
  • Clemson ramping up their defensive intensity on Coby White in the second half.
  • Final thoughts on the big road win.
