Going into the NBA Draft, it was known that Luke Maye and Kenny Williams would likely have to wait until after draft night to be signed by a team. Not long after finding out that Luke Maye was signed to the Milwaukee Bucks, a rather reliable source indicated that Kenny Williams signed a contract with the San Antonio Spurs. Who was the source, you ask? It was none other than who is turning out to be the more entertaining new Tar Heels, Armando Bacot via his Instagram Stories:

Kenny Williams’ signing with the Spurs follows a senior season filled with adversity. For some reason he had a difficult time getting his shots to fall with the one exception being Senior Night against Duke, but it is his junior year that shed some light on what his potential could be at the professional level. Signing with a coach like Gregg Popovich is a situation that any player should be excited about, and now he has a chance to prove himself during Summer League play and likely during the G-League regular season.

Now that Kenny Williams has signed, every Tar Heel that left the program has been signed to an NBA contract. The official tally is three first-round picks, two lottery picks, and two undrafted signings. Congratulations to Kenny Williams on signing with the Spurs, and best of luck to you in the pros!
