Tar Heel Blog is looking for writers. These are part-time, remote, contract opportunities compensated with a monthly stipend. Keep reading to find out if this is the perfect fit for you.

What does the role entail?

We’re looking for people who are knowledgeable about Tar Heel sports, particularly football and basketball, and have the availability and interest to write about them on a consistent basis.

What qualifications should you have?

Our best candidates will:

  • Have a passion for the Tar Heels and will already be familiar with Tar Heel Blog.
  • Be able to produce and edit clean copy.
  • Be comfortable working in a remote environment.
  • Previous sportswriting experience is preferred.
