ACC Football Week 3: Staff Predictions

The one where we call some people out.

So let’s just get this out of the way early: four members of the Tar Heel Blog staff didn’t pick Carolina to beat Miami. I’m sure they had their reasons, but that doesn’t mean I’m not going to shame them a little bit for that decision.

Akil, Brandon, Jacob, and Matt? Come on, guys. COME ON. Where is the faith???

Evan is still out in front of everyone by one game with 20 correct predictions and just two missteps. Chad, Douglas, Jake, Quintin, and yours truly are hot on his heels, though, with 19 correct predictions each.

Here are the staff’s predictions (including our two newcomers!) for Week 3 which features a whole lot of chalk:

Everyone except Matt (who is just playing the odds at this point) and Jake (who refused to commit) decided to put their faith in Mack Brown and co. for their Friday night game against Wake Forest. Sam Howell is the truth and everyone might as well jump on board.

There is very little disagreement this week, but that means there is also very little room for anyone to get out to any kind of comfortable lead. Will Evan picking West Virginia to beat NC State help him add to his lead, or will it be the deciding factor in everyone else being able to catch up? Stay tuned!
