So it would appear that the odds are stacked against us today.
Carolina’s football team has the near-impossible task of taking on the defending national champions and top-ranked team in the country. This after two back-to-back losses to opponents that are, at least on paper, a lot easier to beat than the Tigers will be.
The pros: it’ll be another sold out game in Kenan Stadium and there is basically nothing to lose
The cons: well, it’s the best team in the country, it’s 90 degrees on September 28th, and this one could get ugly if the offense doesn’t come ready to play
Still, there’s always the chance for a miracle. Maybe today will be UNC’s day. We’ve seen weirder things happen, right?
...right?
Let’s find out together.
If you are watching along at home instead of at Kenan, hang out with us here in our game thread. As always, we’ll be back after the game with a complete rundown of the happenings. Until then...
Go Heels!
