Week 1 of college football is in the books, which means it is time to take a look at this week’s SB Nation FanPulse top 25 rankings! These rankings were voted on by you, the readers, and we will continue to share this data every week during the college football season. Let’s take a look at who made the cut:

To nobody’s surprise, Clemson remains the number one team in the country after beating down Georgia Tech 52-14. As far as the other ACC teams represented in the preseason poll go, Miami and Virginia Tech were knocked off the list, and ACC football holdout Notre Dame fell three spots despite beating Louisville Monday night. Finally, our beloved North Carolina Tar Heels did not make the cut, which would’ve been surprising had they shown up on the list. They will have an opportunity this weekend to make a stronger case for themselves this weekend when they take on Miami at Kenan Stadium.

Fans are feeling confident about the Heels going forward, though.

What do you think of this week’s top 25? Do you feel like someone’s ranked too low or too high? Also, what do you think the Heels have to do to make it on the list? Finally, if you haven’t already, CLICK HERE and sign up for SB Nation’s FanPulse survey! We want your voice to be heard all season long, and the more fans representing the Tar Heels in the voting the better!
