Here’s how to check out the Tar Heels take on the Hurricanes.

The Tar Heels got agonizingly close to breaking their losing streak Wednesday night against Virginia Tech. Instead, the Hokies won out in double overtime, and UNC fell further under .500. Now Carolina returns home to take on Miami.

The Hurricanes haven’t covered themselves in glory, as they come into this matchup at 2-6 in the conference, half a game ahead of UNC in the ACC standings. Earlier this week, they made another stop in the Triangle and were obliterated by Duke. It’s not as long as UNC’s, but Miami also enters this game on a bit of a lengthy losing streak.

One of the big stories going into this game will be the continued Cole Anthony watch. He traveled with the team to Blacksburg on the heels of his tweet about wanting to get back on the court, leading to wonders if he will play. He did not, but there will likely be similar intrigue about his status for this game until there’s any sort of announcement.
