UNC selects blowing 15-point lead AND buzzer-beater in latest heartbreaking loss

Another buzzer-beater. Another loss. This time might be worse, because it also featured blowing a 15-point lead in order to get it to the point where their hearts could be broken by a buzzer-beater from a 29% three-point shooter.

I wish I had inspirational things to say. I wish there was a way of looking at the positives and not dwelling on the fact that this has now happened four times in three games. This season is Murphy’s Law in every way and we’re doomed to watch it play out Groundhog’s Day style over and over forever.

I hate it for the guys who wear the uniform. I hate it for the coach who always blames himself when things go wrong. Selfishly, I hate it for all of us too. I legitimately don’t know how fans of other teams handle stuff like this, but also I can’t imagine that many other teams experience seasons quite like this one.

There are actual stats and things to be found in the box score here if you’re interested, but I’m not sure why you would be.
