Maybe the best thing about having a short turnaround is being forced to have a short memory. Saturday’s game was frustrating both in how it ended and in the regression that Carolina made with Cole Anthony back out on the court. The problem is the team has no time to wallow in its misery as they have to take the long journey south to play the Seminoles in Tallahassee.
It’s the second week in a row Carolina will be doing the Saturday/Monday turn around, but this week’s road trip is a little longer than the 30 mile trip to West Raleigh, and they’ll also have about six fewer hours of recovery time. It’ll be interesting to see how Anthony has recovered after 26 minutes of game action and if his minutes will ramp up or stay about the same, especially since Brandon Robinson won’t be playing.
Because 2020.
Florida State comes into the game as one of the top teams in the league, looking solidify their hold in the top echelon of the conference. While an NCAA bid is a real long shot after Saturday’s loss, the Tar Heels can help their cause with a win tonight over one of the best teams in the ACC.
