Things may be starting a week later than expected, and against a completely different slate of opponents, but football is back starting tomorrow! How long it’s back for? Who knows, but we still need to try to predict what’s going to happen.
The crew managed to keep tight last year until basketball season, but now the crown for prediction champ is back up for grabs. The staff put our heads together and came up with this bag of predictions for this weekend’s games:

So...uh...not really a lot of differing opinions here. Max is going to step out on a line and say that UAB will manage to pull off the upset over Miami, which may not be a big upset considering how much Miami fell on its face at the end of last year. Evan and I are going for Georgia Tech spoiling Mike Norvell’s debut in Tallahassee, and from there everything else is just pure chalk.
We did have to talk Jake out of selecting “COVID” as the winner for every game, and I’m sure some of us are half-expecting an outbreak to cancel a game before kickoff, or even at halftime.
As long as there’s a season, though, we’ll keep track. Let’s see who has the gift for predicting the future this season!
