UNC Basketball: Wake Forest Game Thread

UNC dropped a game to Florida State over the weekend, snapping what had been a three-game win streak. While the loss was disappointing, the Tar Heels did show a lot of fight against a good Seminoles team. Hopefully that is a good sign of things to come.

Wake Forest comes into tonight’s game having dropped five straight games. Four of those losses came against ranked teams, but it has certainly been rough going for the Demon Deacons to this point after several games were postponed because of coronavirus.

Carolina has gotten good production as of late from guys like Kerwin Walton, and Caleb Love had a strong showing against Florida State. With so many freshmen on the team, their success is extremely entwined with the team’s success overall. Now is a great time for those young guys to turn the corner.
