The North Carolina Tar Heels are just moments away from taking on the Clemson Tigers in Littlejohn Coliseum. The Heels have been hot in ACC play so far, as they lost just one of their games in the month of January. As far as things have been going for the Tigers...well...things could be going better. Ever since their loss to Virginia Clemson have lost two of their last three games, with their lone win somehow being over Louisville. The two losses? Florida State and Duke. Needless to say, there’s no shame in losing to the Seminoles, but there may be a little bit of shame this season in losing against Duke when you were recently a top 25 team in the country. After all, the Blue Devils did just lose to Miami.
I digress, this should be a tough game for the Tar Heels despite Clemson’s struggles. Roy Williams has finally found a way to get his team to feed the paint and when needed nail some important shots from deep. Will the trend continue on the road against a team that would give them another Q1 victory? We’re about to find out.
As always, we’ll be here after the game with takeaways from the game. Until then, Go Heels!
