The North Carolina Tar Heels are just moments away from taking on the Louisville Cardinals in the Dean Smith Center. UNC is coming off of an impressive win against Northeastern University earlier this week, while the Cardinals...well...let’s just say they’ve had a really hard time getting to play games at all. The last time Louisville saw action on the basketball court was February 1st in a win against Georgia Tech. Since then they have had games against Syracuse (2x), Pitt, and Virginia Tech get postponed. Quite honestly we still don’t know who will actually play for Chris Mack today, and as of the time of writing this article the starting lineup has not been announced.
This game should be an exciting one should enough of their players play. It will be interesting to see if the Tar Heels will be able to ride the momentum of their win against Northeastern and start a winning streak going into the newest game on the schedule against Marquette. One glaring issues in their win against the Huskies was the continuation of issues shooting the ball, and so we will see if they can find a way to knock down shots more efficiently against this depleted Louisville roster.
As always, we will be back after the game with some post-game analysis. Until then, Go Heels!
