UNC vs. Florida State: Game Thread

We are back in the Dean Dome for a huge game against one of the best teams in the country.

The North Carolina Tar Heels are now just moments away from taking on Florida State in the second game of this home-and-home series. Last time the Heels were just a whisper away from sneaking in front of the Seminoles in the final two minutes of the game, but mistakes down the stretch buried their chances. Since then the team has looked much better, but at the same time they have had some really disappointing moments. Which team will we get today? That, my friends, is the $1,000,000 question going into this game.

All eyes will understandably be on Kerwin Walton in this one considering the fact that he struggled to get his shot going against Marquette. The Golden Eagles did a great job of staying in his face and making him take some tough shots, and it’s hard to expect anything different today against Florida State. The big question will be whether or onto his teammates can help him get better looks, and more importantly, who will be able to help take pressure off of him on the perimeter? Let’s hope that he gets some help today, or I fear the result will not be much different than the first time these two teams met.

As always, we will be back after the game with post-game analysis and takes. Go Heels!
