It will be a short turnaround for the North Carolina Tar Heels after their big win on the road against Duke. The good news after their three-game road trip is they do not have to travel far to get back home.
The important win Saturday night, combined with Miami’s personnel issues, have the Tar Heels as big favorites tonight. Unfortunately, this game has all the trappings of a trap game.
This game, against a short-staffed, below .500 team, is sandwiched between matches versus your archival and the highest ranked team in the conference. Tar Heel fans will learn a lot about their basketball team tonight.
Carolina is a better team now than when they inched out a two-point victory against the Hurricanes back in early January. Let’s see if they can step up and do what is expected.
