Can’t commit to a full season ticket? No sweat, Carolina Football has a deal for you!

In another sign that things are getting back to normal, Carolina has just announced new ticket packages that will go on sale next week, June 21.

For those who either cannot commit to a season ticket for financial or long-distance reasons, these plans are great value for money. Credit to UNC for not picking the worst games to include in the “Pick 3 Package.” All three teams in the top tier (Virginia, Miami, and Wake Forest) should be exciting contests.

Virginia has been a recent bugaboo to the Tar Heels (in all sports, really) and Wake Forest gave Carolina a real scare last season when neither team could get a stop. Miami was kind enough to pull their pants down before taking their spanking last season - and they are riding a two-game losing streak to the Heels at the moment - but with D’Eriq King returning, that game should be exciting. As exciting as this?

Who can say? But if Carolina and Miami have the type of seasons that both fans and media expect, plan on this being a night game, which will add so much more hype to the mix.

Speaking of night games, the individual game “Family Packages” (Georgia State, Virginia, Wofford) already have two night games included, with the Georgia State and Virginia games (9/11, 9/18) scheduled for 7:30pm kick-offs. Those will be fun games for sure!

It’s been a long time away from Kenan Stadium for most of us. I’ll look forward to seeing y’all “amid the pines.”
