Jawad Williams has made an alarming discovery about two former UNC basketball alums

Who would’ve known that a simple haircut could provide such a wild revelation.

We have all heard the saying that all good things must come to an end, and when it comes to former Tar Heel Coby White, it couldn’t be more true. The dynamic point guard and current Chicago Bull cut off his iconic afro a few weeks ago, as was reported by our own Michael McKay. While it at first seemed like it could be a prank, more pictures have surfaced proving that the haircut is indeed real.

Here is one of the first pictures that surfaced via the Carolina Basketball Twitter handle:

A couple of days ago the Chicago Bulls Twitter handle decided it was time for the grand unveiling as well. Here is the picture that was shared from White’s Instagram:

It has taken some getting used to, but I personally have finally accepted the fresh new cut. It’s a really weird thing to have to come to terms with, but when it’s all you’ve ever known from the time he committed to this point, it’s hard not to feel a bit uncomfortable. I mean, surely it can’t get anymore uncomfortable than that, right?

WELL, former Tar Heel Jawad Williams would like a word.

While it was mostly a quiet morning yesterday on Twitter, Jawad Williams decided that he was going to choose violence. He posted a picture of Coby White alongside another former Tar Heel, David Noel. The pictures came with a tweet asking if they were Tar Heel doppelgängers, and well…once you see it, you really can’t unsee it.

It goes without saying that if both White and Noel were smiling they’d look like completely different people. However, for the most part this is just downright unsettling. It’s even more unsettling when you consider the fact that David Noel is now 37, which makes him 16 years older than White. It’s quite a compliment to Noel, truly, but apparently he decided that he needed to have a word with Williams following the tweet. In a deleted tweet, Williams showed a screenshot of Noel trying to FaceTime him along with the tweet: “Now Dave calling to threaten me, smh.”

It’s always a fun day to be a Tar Heel when we see former and current players joking with each other and showing each other love. However, this does not take away from the level of creepy that exists between these two pictures. What do you think? Do they look like Tar Heel doppelgängers? Or do they look nothing alike, and Jawad Williams whiffed on his comparison? Let us know in the comments below.
