UNC vs. Georgia State: How To Watch

Welcome home, Tar Heel fans!

Editor’s Note: This game is on ESPN3 and not ESPN+. Sorry for any confusion, and we hope that you are still able to access tonight’s game!

Later this evening, the North Carolina Tar Heels will take on the Georgia State Panthers in the first home game of the season. The Heels are coming off of an extremely disappointing loss to Virginia Tech, while the Panthers are coming off for a 43-10 loss to Army. Needless to say, this would be in an extremely bad way should the Heels lose this one, but this will more than likely serve as a nice tune-up game before they welcome the Virginia Cavaliers next week.

One of the most important groups to watch in this one will be the offensive line. After struggling mightily with the Hokies’ front seven last week, the line will look to fix their communication issues in order to keep Sam Howell safe in the pocket. It’ll also be interesting to see if the defense will play to their potential for all four quarters, and hopefully we will also see Storm Duck return to action.

If you aren’t able to make it to Kenan Stadium, there are options for watching the game from home. Fair warning: the information available for how to watch this one is pretty funky. My recommendations for how to watch can be found below.

  • Time: 7:30 PM ET
  • Location: Kenan Stadium, Chapel Hill, NC
  • TV: RSN — The list of affiliates can be found here. However, the affiliate in the Triangle, Bally Sports South, does not have the game listed in the TV guide. ESPN3 will also be showing the game, so that may be the best way to watch.
  • Radio: Tar Heel Sports Network (list of affiliates) with Jones Angell and company on the call. The game can also be heard on SiriusXM channel 84.
  • Streaming: Coverage can be watched on the Watch ESPN app on your various devices. The THSN radio feed can be heard on or on Learfield’s new “The Varsity” app.
  • Line: UNC -26
