UNC Football: Georgia State Game Thread

The Tar Heels are looking for their first win of the season.

Well, I think we can all collectively agree that last week was bad. The Tar Heels kicked off their season as a top 10 team by putting up a disappointing performance on the road against Virginia Tech. Tonight, they are back in the friendly confines of Kenan Stadium for their home opener against Georgia State with hopefully a better game plan.

Last week seemed to be a mess of preparation and execution. The defense adjusted in the second half to give the offense a chance, but the offensive line was as hole-y as a well-loved pair of socks that your wife keeps telling you to get rid of. It was painful to watch. Hopefully they’ve had that tape burned into their minds so much that they come out tonight ready to protect Sam Howell from getting obliterated by the opposing team’s defense.

As always, we’ll be back after the game with a complete roundup of the happenings. Until then...

Go Heels!
