The Tar Heels got in the win column last week against Georgia State, but the task this week is much harder. Carolina welcomes the Virginia Cavaliers to Kenan Stadium tonight as the Heels try to pick up their first ACC win.

Even in last week’s win, there were obvious points of weakness out of UNC. The offensive line and ground game are still things to keep an eye on against a much tougher opponent in the Wahoos. The game will feature two of the conference’s best quarterbacks, which will make it even more imperative for the Carolina O-line to do their job in protecting Sam Howell.

Despite the hiccup in the first game against Virginia Tech, UNC can still live up to the lofty expectations set for them in the preseason and win the ACC Coastal. However, they will need to show they were worthy of those expectations starting tonight.

As always, we’ll be back after the game with a complete roundup of the happenings. Until then...

Go Heels!
