UNC has kicked off their season with back-to-back home win against Radford and Lehigh. Tonight, the Tar Heels will try to close out their three-game stint in the Dean Dome as they welcome UC Riverside to Chapel Hill. Carolina will be heading to the Bahamas for Thanksgiving, where the level of competition will certainly be kicked up a level, so tonight gives them another opportunity to iron out any early season kinks.
The Highlanders come into tonight having dropped their last two games to Utah and Portland after starting their season with a win against UC Merced. They average just under 65 points per game, which is tied for 350th in the country.
Carolina’s early season metrics look pretty good with both their points per game and rebounds per game numbers landing in the top 50 in the country. They did drop a spot in the rankings last week, despite winning, but it is unlikely that a win over UC Riverside will do much to sway them.
As always, we’ll be back after the game with a complete roundup of the happenings. Until then...
