Between all the football rivalry games this weekend, and the Thanksgiving week tournaments, we’re in for a busy week in college sports. Over the next couple days, there’s hardly a time that you won’t be able to find some game to watch should you turn on the TV. That includes plenty of action for North Carolina’s various teams.
Before all that action gets really going, let’s check in on where things stand in various AP Top 25 polls.

Where is UNC?
It shouldn’t come as a shock considering they were only at #22, but the Tar Heels have dropped out of the rankings after the loss to Clemson. They’re still getting some votes, but are a decent ways off #25 Tennessee.
Biggest Winners
Toledo have made their season debut in the rankings after they improved to 10-1 last week.
Biggest Losers
UNC is up there in terms of spots, but they were topped by Utah, who went from #16 to unranked, and James Madison, who dropped six places after taking their first loss of the season.

Where is UNC?
Thanks to some losses to teams above them and their 3-0 start, the Tar Heels jumped up six spots, and are in the Top 15 and #14.
Biggest Winners
Only one teams had a bigger jump that Carolina, and that’s Colorado. The Buffs moved up seven spots after a similar 3-0 start.
Biggest Losers
Florida Atlantic started the season highly ranked after returning all key pieces from last year’s Final Four run, but an early season loss to Bryant has seen the Owls drop nine spots this week.

Where is UNC?
Even with a 4-0 start, the Tar Heels have moved down this week. That being said, that has more to do with them getting surpassed by teams with impressive wins than anything UNC has done wrong.
Biggest Winners
Kansas State took down Caitlin Clark and #2 Iowa and as a result, they vaulted up all the way to #16 on the back of that and a 4-0 start.
Biggest Losers
Utah fell out of the top five and to #10 after they took a loss to Baylor.

Like with the men, this is non-conference tournament week, so there aren’t many matchups set. The intriguing ones to watch for the women are the Fort Myers Tip-Off, Paradise Jam, and the Cayman Islands Classic.
