ACC Basketball Week 5: Tar Heel Blog staff predictions

The Tar Heels had a pretty good week, beating Michigan, Davidson, and Tulane to correct the course after that ugly night against Michigan State. They now sit 8-1 on the season and have a three-game winning streak going for them with a game against Western Carolina coming up this week.

It proved to be a pretty solid week for our predictions, though almost everyone was shocked by Seton Hall defeating Louisville. What is everyone predicting for Week 5 of the basketball season?

There seem to be clear favorites in this week’s lineup of games, with North Carolina expected to defeat Western Carolina. The only game that seems to be up for debate is the no. 15 Virginia vs. no. 18 West Virginia game, which could go either way.
