UNC basketball: AP Top 25 - Week 15

Despite the loss to Duke, UNC still remains in the AP top ten.

Another week in college basketball and another week in which the AP Top 25 Poll remains a flurry of activity with lots of movement, outside of the top three. Gonzaga came away with a nice victory on the road over #22 Saint Mary’s, and holds on to the number one spot for the third week in a row. The Big 12 and Pac 12 each have three teams in the top ten; however, those are the only teams representing their conferences in the top 25. The ACC continues to show it is the best conference top to bottom with six teams in this week’s poll.

Let’s take a closer look at this week’s AP Top 25 Poll for basketball.

NCAA Tournament Bracket Preview

Personally, I think that this whole idea of putting out a bracket preview is as useless as a 2-hour Selection Sunday show. Also, you know there is no way that the Selection Committee is giving Duke that difficult of a bracket and/or UNC that easy of a bracket. I would be more interested in a weekly “Last 4 In” and “Last 4 Out” preview leading up to Selection Sunday, but that makes too much sense, so we know that the NCAA wouldn’t do that.
