UNC Football vs. Virginia Tech: Time, TV, streaming, and odds

The Heels head to Blacksburg to take on the #14 Hokies. Here's what you need to know.

NCAA Football: Virginia at North Carolina Bob Donnan-USA TODAY Sports

There's a great Yiddish children's folk tale called "It Could Always Be Worse" that I remember reading when I was a kid. It tells the story of an unfortunate man who lives with his large family in a one room hut and has fallen on hard times.

He goes to his Rabbi, seeking advice, and is presented with a series of suggestions that make things even more disastrous. The moral of the story: Why, it could always be worse, of course!

That is the recurring theme of the North Carolina Tar Heels Football Team this season. Injuries and heartbreakers galore. It can't get worse can it? Yep, sure can. And it's about to.

The Tar Heels head to Blacksburg on Saturday to lose to the #14 Virginia Tech Hokies. To quote Charles Barkley: "I may be wrong, but I doubt it." If you are of more optimistic stuff than myself and hope still springs eternal for you, here is how to view our Heels this weekend:

Time: 3:30 pm ET

Location: Lane Stadium, Blacksburg, Virginia

TV: ESPN 2, Mike Patrick as play-by-play, Tommy Tuberville as color, Paul Carcaterra sideline

Radio: Tar Heel Sports Network. Jones Angell needs some kind of pain and suffering bonus.

Odds: Virginia Tech -21
