UNC Football: Western Carolina Game Thread

NCAA Football: North Carolina at Pittsburgh Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

Today UNC will face off against Western Carolina in hopes of getting their second win in a row before having to head to Carter Finley Stadium next week to face off against the NC State Wolfpack. This game should be one of the easier games that UNC has had this season, but they still have to make sure they don’t sleep on the Catamounts as they are a top 25 team in the FCS standings.

Last week UNC managed to pull off their first ACC win of the season against Pitt. Following in traditional UNC vs. Pitt fashion, both teams took it down to the wire with UNC managing to escape Heinz Field with a three point victory. Nathan Elliott had a solid game, throwing for 235 yards 2 TDs and zero interceptions. Will he and the UNC offense be able to keep the momentum going this week? We will find out soon.
