Raleigh & Company | R.L. Bynum: Justin Jackson is aiming to become a more consistent player for the Tar Heels this season. Part of his plan is to become more aggressive to help fill in for Brice Johnson and Marcus Paige.

Carolina Blue | Noah Grant: Linebackers Andre Smith and Cole Holcomb have done a great job replacing last year’s seniors. Cayson Collins and Dominique Ross have also been productive on defense.

Inside Carolina | Evan Chronis: North Carolina’s freshmen are getting a taste of what college basketball is like. Forward Tony Bradley, guard Seventh Woods, and wings Brandon Robinson and Shea Rush have all stood out in practice so far.

The Daily Tar Heel | Jeremy Vernon: After coming up short against Villanova last season, the current Tar Heels team is ready to move past the heartbreak. Roy Williams hasn’t even watched the tape from that game, he just wants to move forward.
