Tar Heels news 7/13/16: Previewing the UNC storylines heading into ACC Media Days

Fayetteville Observer | Sammy Batten: Early rankings of the recruiting class of 2017 has UNC shaping up to be among one of the best classes. With 14 spots already locked up, there may only be about four more additions before the class is complete. Billy Ross and Tre Shaw may fill two of those vacancies.

News & Observer | Andrew Carter: Media days are upon us, and that means it's time to check in with the biggest stories surrounding the Tar Heel football team. The biggest, of course, will be whether or not Mitch Trubisky is ready to be the starting quarterback. Another big question will be whether or not the defensive line can take a step forward in 2016.

Enquirer-Journal | Justin Murdock: The UNC women's basketball team struggled last season, finishing with a losing record for the first time in 20 years. Stephanie Watts found individual success on the court, but she is looking for team success in her sophomore season with the Tar Heels.

Indianapolis Business Journal | Dave Stafford: William Crawford, a former UNC football player, has sued the ACC and the NCAA. Crawford claims that hits he sustained in practice and games caused concussions that have altered his life, and seeks damage compensation for his past, present, and future medical expenses.
