Des Moines Register | Tommy Birch: Former Tar Heel Tim Federowicz is back with the Iowa Cubs after being designated for assignment by their parent club in Chicago. He had a chance to sign with other teams, but ultimately decided that staying in the Cubs' organization was best for getting to play every day.

Greensboro News & Record | Spencer Turkin: Eric Ebron held a camp called Play 4 Keeps in his native Greensboro over the weekend where 200 kids got to spend time with other NFL players in the place where Ebron got his start. Ebron's goal was to give back to the city he grew up in.
