Today's U | Joseph Nocco: Four-star running back Adarius Lemons decommitted from UNC over the weekend, and will instead be attending the University of Florida. It sounds like the decision came down to his grandmother's desire to keep him in Florida because she doesn't enjoy traveling.
The Telegraph | Stan Awtrey: The ACC is implementing changes to their targeting protocol that will allow replay officials to call targeting from the booth. If the official believes a targeting call was missed, they can call down to the field and encourage the crew chief to take another look at the play.
Keeping It Heel | Zack Pearson: 2017 forward Jarred Vanderbilt has listed UNC among his top 9 landing spots. The five star recruit is ranked 16th in the country by 247Sports. Among his other choices were Kentucky, Kansas, Texas, and Arizona.
High School OT | Nick Stevens & Mandy Mitchell: Kinston, a small town of just 20,000 in North Carolina, has become a bit of a hot bed for young basketball players in the state. In the last 50 years, seven players from Kinston High and seven players from Lenoir County have gone on to the NBA. Roy Williams loves the talent present there, and says he goes there "quicker than he would go to New York City" when he hears about a new player in the city.
